Perth Cup Field

The Perth Cup field attracts some of the best stayers from around Western Australia and further afield. Raced across a course known for being difficult, each horse in the Perth Cup field must bring extensive experience to the track in order to have a valid chance at winning. Since 2009, the length has been only 2400m long (as opposed to 3200m), opening the Perth Cup field to a lot more local entrants.

2016 Perth Cup Field

The December edition of the 2016 Perth Cup field has attracted a 15-strong line-up led by the likes of JRA Trophy winner Kia Ora Koutou and the 59kg top weight Perfect Reflection.
