Peters is undoubtedly one of Perth racing’s biggest names and always dominates the Perth Summer Carnival and major feature races and experienced success in the 2015 Perth Cup via talented runner Real Love.

Peters conceded he is not sure if the Big Brown mare will get the distance of the 2015 Perth Cup but is thrilled with the condition of the horse and believes her last start run for fourth in the Group 1 Kingston Town Classic (1800m) suggests a successful step up.

“I don’t know whether she’ll get that far,” Peters told The West Australian.

“The next one will tell us. I don’t want to overtax her, she’s still developing.”

Neverland has finished outside the first three only once through an impressive nine start career and has been a standout for Peters’ strong operation through the 2015 Perth Summer Carnival so far.

Trialling well in the lead-up to her competitive debut, Neverland immediately stamper her claims as one to watch when taking out the XXXX Gold 3.y.o Miaden (1400m) in September 2014 before immediately returning to the paddock.

Continuing her undefeated run of form past upon resuming early this year, Neverland made a successful transition to black type racing in taking out the Listed Make Your Own Magic Challenge (1500m) before finishing in the minors in each of the Listed Ascot 1000 Guineas (1800m) and Listed Natasha Stakes (2200m).

Returning this time for consecutive wins in a pair of Ascot minor races over 1400m, Neverland returned to winning black type form in the Listed Carbine Club Of WA Stakes (1400m) in her only other start prior to the Kingston Town Classic. to take advantage of the best odds on the widest range of markets available on the 2016 Perth Cup!
