God Has Spoken Cops 1kg Perth Cup 2011 Penalty

God Has Spoken has been given a one kilogram penalty for the 2011 Perth Cup on December 31, 2011, after winning the CB Cox Stakes at Ascot last Saturday.

The five-year-old entire carried 59 kilograms to his last win in the CB Cox Stakes and is currently allocated 54 kilograms for the 2011 Perth Cup.

However, should current top weight Ranger not run in the Perth Cup, God Has Spoken will have to carry the top weight of 57 kilograms in the race.

God Has Spoken will go into the 2011 Perth Cup with eight wins under his belt and total prize money that totals more than $800,000.
